. . . cleaned up behind JJ's usual Hollywood performance.

Maten: 7-11 ( 1-1) 5-5 FT, 8 rebounds 20 points 1 assist 4 TO, 3 blocks 1 assist in 35 minutes (Some of those turnovers were tough on Yante as he tried to put the ball in play to teammates running in cement shoes. He was very close to spectacular.)
Mann: 3-4 (0-0) 6-7 FT, 4 rebounds 12 points 4 assists 2 TO, 2 steals in 28 minutes of hell for the self appointed Georgia basketball jurists. I think the word is efficient.

JJ is perfect on 20 free throws the last two games - that's got to be some kind of record, 27 of 28 last three games, 32 of 35 last 4 games. That's an insane 91%. Turned out to be a pretty good recruit, you know, so far. He played 36 minutes or more the last 4 games.

Kenny Paul Geno continues to build a dream record against his dream school.

Georgia was out fastbreaked 9 - 2 for the game - the 4th game this year they lost the all important critical must win fast break battle and fortunately, style points were not awarded. Dawgs are 2-2 when out fastbreaked. (Might explain the MSU comeback - BUT WAIT. Georgia was skunked 6 - 0 on fastbreak points the first half and the Dawgs finished in control.)

Charles Mann has rocketed to 70.09% on free throws, the team to right around 70% or a shade higher - that could go a long way to 'xplaining a 4 game win streak, Lucy.

The MSU bench killed our bench 29 - 5. Howland is either starting the wrong 5 or who starts doesn't matter. I vote the later.
