My wife had it on the other night. I was busy with something else so didn't watch very closely. It looked extremely disturbing like in a Texas Chainsaw kind of way. She had a pretty big stomach for horror stuff and it was kind of heavy for her.
I don't like it either. It's all these backwoods inbred Wisconsin people on the show. It appears like a real documentary. It may be based on a real story but don't really care.
It's based on this guy the wrong fulley convicted. He spent 18 years in prison got out I think in 05 suied the city and state for a bunch of money. He won it so he ended up in prison again his lawyers are convinced he did not do it. Gained a following because of this series. He set for retrial I think not real sure. Scott will probley pardon him or something just because of the whole story.give him a giant check. My ex friend loved that stuff
