I know Maxwell has had a frustrating series so far against Bama and has been displeased on a couple of strike three calls that have gone against him. However, he is one of the worst at walking away when he thinks it’s ball 4 and then getting ringed up. I just don’t understand why baseball players just don’t WAIT until a questionable ball 4 is called by ump instead of beginning to walk and throw bat toward dugout and start taking off their equipment. It never works it seems like. Granted, I get that some ball 4s seem obvious but stop trying to walk to first before the call is made by ump. It doesn’t help the cause it seems like and only seems to work unfavorably for the batter. Okay, end of rant.
