If I’m going to spend a lot of NIL money , spend it on proven players in the portal. This is reminding me of the NFL draft back in the day when teams would give first round draft picks an enormous amount of money to unproven players. The college game is beginning to look more NFL-like without the parameters. The big difference is the high school kids are not anywhere near a proven commodity compare to a developed college player entering the NFL. There is going to be different ways to build a roster, we will see soon who does it best .
