step son was speaking of caimen mrap a few minures ago in regard to
how they originally had cool side panels for soldiers to shoot bad guys.
the Army however decided to armor the shooting panels.

LRSO Long Range Stand-Off Weapon​


There is no LRSO in that picture, which refers to the newest cruise missile (definitely nuclear & likely conventional) that is currently in development.

That's a very old picture (as indicated by the BUFF's 'camo' paint job) carrying CALCM (NOT ALCM)s. My guess is that's a G model (based on the paint scheme), which was removed & taken out of service in '92 due to START treaty obligations. The only BUFFs flying now are H models.

Although the BUFF (& others) will carry the LRSO, there has yet to be any released picture of that weapon, for good reason.

B-21 Raider​


...and this is still a 'best guess' of what the B-21 will look like. Likely "close", but also probably lacking some significant characteristics. Nobody that's allowed to talk about it publicly has actually seen this jet. No doubt, it will be an awesome weapon system.
