Afternoon everyone.
The Bulldogs are in shorts, helmets and shoulder pads today, their first day back on the practice field since last Thursday afternoon.
Here's what we saw:
First, the injuries.
Cornerback Eric Stokes (knee) was indeed back on the field as Kirby Smart predicted he would be, although there was no immediate sign of Tyson Campbell, who has been dealing with a foot injury the past three weeks.
Stokes was wearing a brace over his right knee.
Smart said during today's press conference that he expects Campbell back on the field later this week.
We did not see left guard Solomon Kindley (lower leg injury). Smart said he anticipated seeing the junior on the field today, and he may will have been off to the side working with Ron Courson - we just didn't see him while we were out.
Wide receiver Kearis Jackson (broken hand) was indeed back practicing, apparently at 100 percent. Jackson was wearing a small protective device that covered the top of his injured left hand, but it did not appear to be affecting him at all as one point he made a nice catch on a pass thrown by Jake Fromm.
David Marshall - those wondering - was practicing today with no immediate limitations.
...In regards to the offensive line, Justin Shaffer continues to work with the first unit as the starter at left guard, with Cade Mays getting the bump over Ben Cleveland at right guard. Jamaree Salyer continues to work as the top backup to Isaiah Wilson at right tackle.
