- Feeling good about where Georgia sits with Smael Mondon. He's an incredibly tough read as most of you well know, but all the intel of late keeps saying Georgia. That's my pick for now, and I'll be sure to let you know if anything changes.

- Ditto on Xavian Sorey.

- Speaking of OLB, a new name for the list here, but I caught up with GMC DE/OLB Byron Young over the weekend, and the interest in Georgia is definitely legitimate. He called them one of his top schools, and he's seeing his recruitment skyrocket with LSU, Auburn, Miss State all coming into the mix recently. Interesting story on this guy - 22 years old, took time off playing and came back to it. Three years to play and a December grad. Not ready to call anyone a favorite yet, but Georgia sits well for the former South Carolina resident. Dan Lanning heavily involved.

- The buzz I've gotten recently around Terrion Arnold makes it sound like this is going Florida's way for the time being. Alabama was long considered the front runner, but the Gators have gained steam over the last 2-3 weeks from what I've heard. Georgia isn't out, but this is looking more like a situation where he'll stay in his home state.

- I believe that opens the door for Biloxi-based DB Elijah Sabbatini. I'm told this kid wants to be at Georgia in a big way, so he may just be waiting for a green light. My guess is Georgia may try to hold off and continue to gauge the Arnold situation before doing so.

- Speaking of holding off, sounds like that's what Georgia was hoping for with Amari Daniels. Think they still feel strongly about chances with Donovan Edwards and are continuing to wait him out. If Daniels were still around in December and Edwards went elsewhere, I think you'd have seen Georgia push very hard. If Edwards still opts for elsewhere, Daniels is one to keep on your 'to watch' list. Georgia likes him but not sure he was option 1A. Still, could circle back around. Might be tough to beat Coley for a Miami kid who's locked into TAMU with a teammate but never say never.
