I know Big-Pharma is often maligned and some of it may be warranted; however, I’m a HUGE fan of Novartis. They agreed to make Gleevec in the late 1990s, and I heard they invested almost a $1billion to do it. After being diagnosed with CML, I was put on Gleevec in 2001 as part of a drug trial, and it literally saved my life. I love Novartis
