Y'all will like this. Mike Edwards has been a really quiet kid throughout his recruitment with myself, other media members, and the coaches recruiting him. He's just a quiet kid, but a super nice kid. I'm told that tonight when he called Jonas Hayes to commit, he started by saying "Coach, I'm sorry to tell you this...", which led to Coach Hayes interrupting and saying "noooo...", and then Mike quickly stopped him and said "I'm just kidding, Coach...I'm going to be a Dawg!".

This makes Jonas Hayes the lead recruiter for 3 of the 4 kids in the 2015 class for Georgia after signing Yante Maten last year. He'd never be the type to self-promote, so I'll do it for him. He's a stud recruiter and was the perfect hire at the perfect time for Coach Fox. He's also a helluva post player coach from what I've heard.

Lastly, in the past, I had heard UGA's players weren't the best hosts on official visits. They didn't have bad kids in the program or anything, but just didn't have the personalities on the team that they have now as upperclassmen. I've heard rave reviews about J.J. Frazier on visits. He's the ace on the team, but I've had a bunch of kids speak highly of Kenny Gaines, Kenny Paul Geno and Yante Maten. Don't underestimate how important that is. I think there have been a couple kids in the past that slipped due in some part to not enjoying their visit with the players.
