My assessment of the NOLA Truck Terrorist

The guy's life went into the pi$$er starting 2020. Divorced twice and in deep financial trouble. Hounded by ex wives and his businesses were failing. He had a good technical education and worked with top consulting firms such as Delloite and Accenture. He had a Computer Info Systems degree from Georgia State.

I think his terror attack was rooted in taking out as many infidels as possible and then dying in a suicide by cop gunfight. This way he could prove his faithfulness as a Muslim and then have the cops off him after he shot at them.

It's a tragic shame, no way around it. If there's any silver lining that makes me feel a little better is that it wasn't a foreign terrorist that snuck in through the border. Still scary that someone who's born and bred in the USA and has a good education can end up committing such a heinous crime.

This may be true, but I think he got in with a terrorist organization at some point. He doesn’t plant multiple IEDs around the city by himself. The FBI is also looking for more involved suspects. While he may not have come across the border, he was likely part of a sleeper cell that secretly entered the country at some point somewhere.
