Yes, I know it’s just a spring game but I think it’s pretty obvious that we will be much improved in the front 7 year this year.
- DL is deeper with guys like Hall, Miller, Jah and McLeod in their second year plus true freshmen like JJA. Brinson looked good and Stack also looks to be in better shape which will help him a lot.
- At ILB, I love Mondon but CJ Allen and Raylen Wilson look incredible and ready to take a leap. I can see a situation where neither let go of their spot.
- OLB is a little more difficult because QBs weren’t live but Mykel looks like a monster at his new JACK spot and Damon Wilson’s first step and bend was obvious today. That position looks a hell of a lot better.
Overall, it seems we are MUCH faster and more athletic than we were last year. Still young but I think we have a chance to be special by the end of the year.
