I am still very high on our talent and depth. Asa is as good as advertised and a really smart player for a frosh. His stroke is good and I believe his 3's will improve as the season moves on. Dylan, as Nola pointed out, still needs work as a big, let alone playing wing. He will better as he matures. Blue is a really tough kid, with a nose for the ball. His D is still average at best, but he busts his tail. He needs to work more to get open though. Silas is Silas, just overall better, and his stroke is much better. I'd like to see us work isolations on the low block for RJ some. I think he can get 10 ppg. Cyril. like I mentioned after the first game has an eye for the open man and make nice passes. He will get better scoring as he settles in. I love Laffew. He's a baller for sure and it was great to see Tyrin drain some 3s. If two out of he, Blue and Dakota are making most games we'll be fine, especially if Asa and even Dylan find their strokes. We are not going to lose because of rebounding this year, which is huge. If we average 4-5 blocks per game that is 2-3 less buckets for the opposition. The Serb has game and will make contributions in several areas. He works hard on D, but is a work in progress. Abson is solid off the bench and man I can't wait to see Montgomery play. We are going to be so much better after fifteen games or so.
