From snap one, I’ll be hyper focused on our OL. IMO the entire game rests on them. If they play to their standard, I see them controlling the LOS and we win convincingly.
Are we able to run consistently? And most importantly, can they keep Beck clean?! It’s strength against strength, if Bama’s pass rush is neutralized and Beck is clean, he is elite passing and will find the open man, and if no one is open he will tuck and get what he can. He won’t make mistakes and we will move the ball and score points.
If our OL is neutralized and they’re getting to Beck it will be a very tight game. However, I simply don’t see that happening. Mims and company are too elite up front and we win that battle. I’m telling you right now, if our OL wins the LOS, it’s GAME OVER. That’s Bama’s only hope, I don’t care what Milroe does on offense, he won’t out score us if they keep Beck clean and we can run the ball.
