Shaboozey…… I compliment the man on his talent and his career, but country music he ain’t, at least not the classic country I’m familiar with.

Country music should have absolutely no place for a shaboozy or a jelly donut or anything w face tattoos. I say create a new genre for that $#|t and make country music great again!! Where is Don Williams when you need him?
Sitting in my parents living room watching the game with my older dad, all he says is “he’s no Charley Pride.”

To each their own as far as new country goes, but getting to your point, I had the pleasure of seeing Don Williams in concert twice. About 10 years apart. Even in his later years, the man could still sing like it was 1975. I am glad I was able to make those shows.
Yep. Some people need to be spayed and neutered.
As I tell people. Real Old Country Music sound is still alive and big but you have to go find it.
One of the greats. Just sat in his chair, sang his songs and absolutely owned a crowd. Saw him numerous times and was never disappointed.
As far as “new country” the only two I can stomach is Cody Johnson and Zach Top. Top came straight out of 1995. I love it.
Tune into the Texas music scene. Far better than anything coming out of Nashville.
Cody Johnson is fantastic. An actual cowboy that can sing his ass off.
One of the purest voices in country music since Keith Whitley in my opinion. I love this cover from him.
But dad is right.
I like all those dead people- Waylon , Merle, George, & Conway are at the top of my list!
