I never got the impression that Ramsey was confident last year by his body language. I think, in general, Richt and Bobo have done a poor job through the years in getting the back up quarterback playing time. They tend to lean on the starter even when games were out of hand giving the backup limited playing time. When the backup enters the game, we typically have a very large lead and they were mostly handing the ball off to kill the clock. This lack of significant playing time for the back up costs us in the transition years.

I'll state the obvious - the coaches know who is best to be the starter. I think Lambert will benefit from having the talent that he has around him and I don't see a weak arm when I look at his film from playing days at Virginia.
