1st off, I was there so I have no idea what the TV guys said.
After Yante's bad game at Mizzou, I think Fox wanted to make sure the offense went thru him. And it did - to the exclusion of everyone else. Look at the box score - Hammonds no points and DO 3 points (no points for EW, but I didn't expect any).
I did not see any plays run to try to get Hammonds a shot. None run to get DO a shot, and none for Harris either.
What I saw was Turtle bringing the ball down and looking for Yante. No one else was moving to make an offense play - except Parker, who always gets his shots. It was unfair to Jackson. He was dribbling around trying to get it to YM, and when the shot clock ran down, he fired up a bad shot (3 of 15).
SoCar played tough D, but I saw no strategy to get offense from anyone else but Yante.
