First off, keep the great group already committed.
On top of those fine young studs We add..
Derrick Brown *****
Mecole Hardman *****
Ben Davis *****
Lyndell (Mack) Wilson *****
Nigel Warrior ****
Shyheim Carter ****

We have a good shot with each of them. Ben Davis, Mack Wilson and Nigel Warrior are all about Kirby, none had Us at the top of their list before He was hired.
If We land all of these guys it will doubtless be the finest defensive class We've ever had at UGA. Heck, We could miss on a couple and it'll still be as good as any class we've signed.

I wonder who Bmac was recruiting? Sounds like he and Smart had some clashes out on the recruiting trail and won't be staying.

I don't think Kirby has thin skin. If He doesn't stay there are likely other explanations. It'll be a shame if He leaves, He was by far our best recruiter till Pruitt signed on.

I got faith Kirby can keep this class together

Look, I don't care how "good" the previous staff was at recruiting. The fact is, it didn't translate into success on the field. I don't see much value in keeping guys in the fold that contributed to the underachievement that's taken place over the last 10+ years. If a guy wants to get upset about a former adversary, then that's his problem - and to that, I'd say good riddance.

Me too I full in Kirby in what he is doing

It's Smart's team now, I'm all in.
That's not to say Pruitt wasn't on a good track with the defense though, He clearly was. Kirby might well prove to be the best in the business, it's a real possibility.

It really is out of all the Saban coaches Saban liked him the most.

Saban VALUED Him more than any other assistant. He made that clear when he made Him the highest paid assistant in CFB.
I'm glad we got the guy was taking to a Alabama friend he was so mad when he found about Kirby.
