Update request Gator: Are we in shambles yet?

Update given Gator: We've been in shambles since 2010.

"DJ Shambles has kicked us out of his top five" Gator: Shambles sent us a C&D letter stating they no longer wish to be associated with our current state of affairs.

Recruiting class house of cards Gator: Nasir Johnson getting ready to flip to UGA.

"It's like Mullen without the play calling" Gator:
This is where the message from guys like Spikes, who I respect, don’t hold water. Yes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. But at some point you started seeing roads and buildings. At this point, it’s hard to argue that we’ve built anything up to this point, and if we don’t show massive improvement on the field next year, the class will be as bad as anything we’ve seen in recent years. It just doesn’t work to tell kids that is going to take for years—or their entire eligibility—to rebuild a program.

And just to emphasize how much a 7-8th ranked class simply won’t cut it, at the moment we are 4th. And even there, the points difference between us and uga #1 is the same as between us and USC #18.

Meanwhile, you have a guy like NorveLLLL, who has zero recruiting prowess on his coaching staff, and a minimal recruiting budget that probably consists of a discounted rate at Enterprise, and a trapper keeper for notes. And yet he’s in front of us. Winning on the field isn’t everything in your first year. Thus the bump class. But it certainly becomes a factor in years two and beyond. Whatever happens to this class, it will be the on-field performance that is to blame. And if we are not gaining significant ground through recruiting, then we aren’t building anything, despite the wishful thinking, otherwise.

Pink Slip Gator:
folks can say all they want about how the majority of croots stick to their commitment. by average that's a correct assessment, but this isnt an average situation. Its a unique one where the prospect of something special was being sold as a way to combat something nearly guaranteed for schools like bama and georgia. they aren't selling hope or the idea of getting back to glory days because they are living them. tater is trying the "if you come, we will get there" approach but you can only go so long with that schtick before showing some signs of progress is required.

we're essentially at that point and the top level croots are looking at what he's shown so far with legitimate concern. then in the other hand they are holding their offers from the currently successful blue bloods, and fielding calls from shart and saban assistants saying "you really going to subject yourself to that garbage week in and week out? Just come on over here young man and be a part of our 3rd, 4th, 5th national title while we develop you into a high draft pick."

winning creates an avalanche effect where everything gets better and everyone wants to join in. losing has an equal and opposite reaction. We are losing. badly. what's coming isnt going to be great. and that's why we oughta do now what all of us know deep down is going to be done eventually.

Hee Haw Gator: The loss to the 6 losses in a row Arkansas, AT HOME, who then turns around the next week and loses, at their home, to lowly Auburn, 48-10, is impossible for recruits and their families or advisors to ignore. Double downed by our giving up over 700 yards to LSU. Who in their right minds wouldn’t be having second thoughts? Billy is going to get exactly what he deserves.

A poor man's Jimbo Gator: He's going to get about $31.6 million more than he deserves.

"Losing to each of our most hated rivals twice in one season" Gator: Trenches are falling apart in this class. Already lost one guy. More than likely to Georgia. About to lose another. And FSU is heavily in the mix with this kid as well all of a sudden.

Oppenheimer Gator: If what I'm hearing comes to fruition, it would be the fastest I’ve ever seen a class fall apart.

"We're like the 90's Braves. We have no closer" Gator: We’ll see. But I don’t think he’s going to be able to salvage this if we lose Nasir, Borieau and Amir. There just isn’t enough time and enough talent left over.

Edmund Fitzgerald Gator:
they are all bailing b/c of what hes showing on saturdays. no amount of croot speak is going to change things now. winning and looking competent is the only way.

so basically hes sunk, and so are we.

Reboot Gator: Nasir is gone. Light in the trenches again this class. Get Billy tf out of here.

Hugh Freeze Gator: We gonna really need some prostitutes now.

A&M portal pipe dream Gator: A&M ain't happening. Typically one does not jump from one sinking ship to another....

One step forward, two steps back Gator:
Bottom line is kids don’t want to sign on with a shyyty coach, a shyyty staff and a shyyty on-field product. They want to see improvement year over year and week to week here in year 2 and they’re not seeing it. They want to go somewhere where they can 1) win and 2) be developed so they maximize their chances of getting to the next level.

Billy is not doing any of that for them. The bottom line is he’s a crappy coach and he’s not cut out for this job. That’s just the truth of the matter, plain & simple. Keeping him around another year does nothing for us except setting us back even further.

Gator Jet heading to Columbia soon? Gator: Meanwhile, ole Drink is going to beat the **** out of us with team full of 3 star recruits.

Can't guarantee going up unless there's nowhere left to fall Gator: Most here don't seem to understand Sractlin's genius. The program NEEDED to be rebuilt, but from scratch, tear it down and rebuild completely. Napier was brought in to ensure we are at rock bottom with absolutely no place to go but up. Give him another year and we will be there, ready for a proper and full rebuild. Takes time. Patience.

Shawshank Dejection Gator: I've never been so hyped and then crashed so hard. I think I hate Napier more than Chump, Sharkhumper, and Mullen put together. I knew those would be a crash and burn. Napier actually gave me hope. He got me believing. Then he stomped on my nuts with his 8 inch high heels.

Guinness Book Gator: Fooley selected THREE losers: Zook, MusDump, and Butters. Strichnine has already selected TWO Losers: Cousin Eddie and Billy Taggert. Strichnine will not get a chance to tie Fooley's record.
