As for W. Mack. Very similar situation. Heck, a bunch of us thought he was an LSU lean and then he pulled the trigger for UF.
You can probably add Amir to this list too.
These are all stud players and there was no way other schools were going to stop recruiting them just b/c they committed to UF. Unfortunately our season has not helped keep them committed.
I still think we get a few flips in our favor.

Finishing 15th means you are in the bottom half of the SEC in recruiting, because the SEC will be 75% of the top 15. I think all of Dan Mullen’s classes at Florida were top 15 and a couple top 10. That wasn’t good enough to be where we want to be.

"These are not the days" Gator: We are well past the times when before the season starts you can pencil us in for wins against Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. If you watched the Kentucky game, no we shouldn’t have won. We loss by nearly 3 touchdowns and it wasn’t even that close.
"If we can stop the other team from beating us, we will win." Gator: We should’ve been able to contain UK's RB. Hence, we would’ve won. Next

Actually, since you are so damn knowledgeable. Please share your story about when you turned around a P5 program that has struggled for 10+ years. You bitch with such conviction that I can only assume you've coached at the highest level and had amazing success. Don't give me that BS that "you don't need to be a coach to see we have issues." I want to hear YOUR success story about when you turned around a program.
Heck, give us a story about anything you've done on the football field that would lend credibility to your incessant complaints. Maybe as a player? Or an assistant? Maybe you coached your son's 2nd grade team and won a trophy? I'd even accept a story about you turning around a struggling business unit. Give specific examples so we can verify.

Johnson immediately), or they just don't think Boireau is very good. I would trust Smart's evaluation re: Defensive Tackle....of course maybe they can make any player better with the 'roid program they likely have going up there.
Answering the why Gator: he probably did not expect the coaching staff to be so incompetent.
