A few weeks ago, there was a discussion on whether another venter should buy a Range Rover. I mentioned that my wife and I were waiting on the arrival of an Ineos Grendier that we had ordered (picture in the link). It arrived Friday and is exactly what I wanted. It's true to the stated purpose of being in spired by the classic Defenders. They had us drive the dealership model on an off-road course, and we were not able to get it stuck. I am not one to advertise for dealerships, but Crown Ineos our of Tampa-St. Pete truly made this the best car "pick up" experience we have ever had.
It is a wonderfully unique and capable vehicle, but it is not for everyone. The Grenadier is not a luxury vehicle, but is true to its classic Defender-inspired roots. You will not find all of the bells and whistles of a G Wagon, but you will find a better ride and a much lower price tag than other similarly designed vehicles. It has been three years since we ordered one, but I could not be happier with my Grenadier.
