Got hit as pedestrian by a 2023 Chevy z71 4wd. Hit me hard, dented his front bumper, spun me around and the mirror caught me knocking it off...I walked it off for about 5 until I had to sit down. Guy was hauling ass trying to go around 1 vehicle in a residential neighborhood and cut back over into the lane I was standing in, I saw him but he kept coming at me. Emergency room nothing broken, but 1 day later I'm ****ing dying obviously. Called his insurance and he'd not even filed a report yet. I'm thinking he had one of the All-State deals tracking his speed and he had to be on the phone to not clearly see me. I wasn't hiding, I was looking his way to make sure it was safe. I've been told it doesn't matter what happened the guy struck me.
I'm no idiot, actually have an insurance license, just a bit confused on what my next steps should be. I'm not looking to get some huge settlement, buy I'm focked good, humans aren't made to put dents in a bumper the way I did and then take off a big ass mirror.
Any law Dawgs with some good advice please? No krystals involved, Kirby is home, luckily I'm in good shape or I'd have been a tin can.
Thanks and sorry if wrong side Anthony, but I cause little trouble these days 😅
