Looking for some advice as I'm sure some of y'all have been through this at some point or another. We have a two-week old at the house as well as my two-year old daughter. My wife has pretty much taken onus of taking care of the little guy while I've been tasked with taking care of our toddler. That's fine with me during the day but the toddler, who was a wonderful sleeper - I'd read her a book, tuck her in, leave the room before asleep, and she'd fall asleep & wake up in morning.... Is now a horrible sleeper since the little guy's first night home. She still goes down the same as always but wakes up sometime around midnight & I can't get her to go back to sleep for the life of me. She'll lay down, I'll soothe her & leave the room, only for her to w get up & walk to her door calling for me 10 minutes later. This goes on for as long as 3 hours. I'm at the end of my rope, we've tried positive reinforcement on her better nights, taking away things the next day on her bad ones.... Anybody got any dawgly advice that might have run into something similar?
