with Finebutt and Kanell and they were discussing the Auburn situation in particular the Johnson benching. If I heard him correctly Kanell alluded to the preseason hype for Johnson and the Heisman talk as being too much pressure to put on him to live up to. I would have to agree as I and several others here were asking WTF when it all started spewing from the talking heads of which Kanell is one.
Do you believe this is a valid excuse or reason for Johnson's poor play to this point or just a cover up for a guy who never was that talented to begin with? Follow up question is if you're buying it do you hold the talking heads who have to fill a lot of air time somewhat responsible?
