they look like a team that should be world beaters right now. They have great looking athletes and the announcers reminded us over and over which guys were 5* recruits. And the expectations for Watson are off the chart. So looking at them on TV was pretty impressive.
But there seems to be something missing. i know this is wrong but I only use it as a way to describe what I saw...... They looked like a team that is thought to be so good and so talented that the coaches throw a football on the field and say go play. They just didn't play up to how good I thought they looked.
I say all this because somebody on this board knows a lot more about them than I do and I ask these questions:
1 Was I not giving UL enough credit by expecting Clemson to wax them
2 Is Clemson a young team that will get much better over the season
3 Is Dabo great at recruiting but not so good at player development
Don't get me wrong..... I'm glad we are playing them given the way we are playing, but this Clemson team will not beat GT and will not see a conference championship unless I am missing something big.
