When you need info, come to the vent.
Does anyone know of a service that pushes weather info that is Zip specific? We work in risk management (not necessarily the insurance kind) and have clients all over the country. I'm looking for some kind of service that has an API that could send data to us based on weather alerts in certain zip codes. I'm want to create a response kit to our clients that will check on them and send them resources based on those alerts.
For instance, National Weather Service issues a tornado warning in Birmingam zip code 35266 and we have a client who has a location address in that zip code. That information from the API matches the zip code of our client and we create an automation that sends an email and text to that client because there was a tornado in their zip.
I know this seems like the future, but I thought someone might know of something like that.
