Need Colo. Wyoming etc recs

Where would be a cool town to visit for New Years. Wyoming, Montana, Colorado etc. mountains. Not wanting to ski, but ski resort ok. Want a walking friendly destination, good food etc. mostly a great R&R getaway for 4-5 days max. Dec 30-Jan3/4
