I have no clue how accurate it is, but if even a scintilla is true, we lost our Govt which is all the more reason to support Trump draining the swamp.

You know that RFK Jr. just makes up lies, right? If anything he says is accurate, it’s because he tried to lie and failed.

The guy is a conspiracy theorist with a loose grip on reality.

That’s been our M.O. for about the last 125 years. Ever heard the phrase “Banana Republic” other than at the mall? How about another 10 or so examples off the top of my head?

Inciting unrest in the name of our best interest is a time-honored tradition. It didn’t start in 2014.

The whole Spanish American war was supposedly a newspaper hoax to start a land grab that we made billions from

I am a skeptic by nature and I take RFK Jr with a grain of salt. So, I'm not vouching for the accuracy of his allegations BUT we know the admin state went batshit crazy when Trump and Rudy started poking around in the Ukraine. We know the Ukraine has widely been believed to have been a pit of corruption and money laundering country used by pols. We know the Bidens were neck deep in the corruption and demanded the firing or a prosecutor that was investigating the corrupt Burisma. We know Victoria Nuland was a player and was less than truthful during testimony about the firing of the prosecutor. Evidently, RFK Jr. is basing his allegations in part on a leaked phone conversation that includes Nuland.

So, while I'm not putting on a foil cap and demanding firing squads for the people RFK Jr is making accusations against, I am supportive of an honest investigation into our activities abroad and that includes more than Ukraine. Yeah, I get it, we don't need to publicize every detail of every covert action but we do need to expose corruption from within our own government and that has nothing to do with whether a fruitcake stumbled upon the information.

Maybe, but I have no reason to trust the opposition. They've lied to me long enough, and the TDS crowd is batshit crazy.

You got whole panels of liars interviewing the cabinet nominees.
THIS!! It's comedic watching that shit, when you have Bernie up there questioning nominees, you know the guy who was damn near broke before running for president, now has untold sums of $$ from who knows where, I mean, I just cant...

No. I’m not saying there is no other bad behavior to point to. There always is, so it’s a pointless exercise.

What I’m saying is this guy regularly and publicly tells lies. And not run-of-the-mill lies. Like crazy ones that neither left nor right can comprehend.

even though it feels good to lambaste “the other side”, you know in your heart this guy is a liar. So please don’t believe him.

You're saying RFK, Jr. *regularly and publicly tells lies.* Lay them on me.

And McKinley was President, so I guess we “lost” our government thanks to the Republicans, right? Isn’t that how the logic goes?
Unironically, yes - but the parties were very different back then.

Of course, the 1896 election itself was the fall of the Bourbon Democrats in favor of Jennings Bryant so there were deeper issues going on.

I’m not going to because I listed like 10 in a thread the other day. You can just look at my post history.

If you’ve heard him speak at all, you’ve heard him lie.

To be fair though, I don't think the nuts and bolts of this particular narrative is all that controversial.

Hell, the defense of USAID today is focused on the role it plays in promoting American influence internationally - a big part of that influence are things like the "protection of human rights", which is geared around political organization against "bad governments" within a country.

Now I think the traditional RFK-Tucker-etc. narrative about EuroMaidan is overly simplistic (the regime wasn't "neutral", for example, it was Russian-aligned.) But the underlying notion that USAID has been a key tool for promoting color revolution is absolutely true, and the real debate is whether or not that is a good thing or a bad thing.

So while interprertation can differ, the general outline should be accepted as an illustration for USAID in practice.

Example, here are Pro-Ukraine folks point to USAID assistance as being vital to EuroMaidan's success:

The USAID’s technical assistance program which provides expert advice, support, and resources to help countries implement reforms and achieve development goals, played a big role in transforming Ukraine after the EuroMaidan Revolution that ended the rule of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014.

The Nuland phone call, was also absolutely real (and an example of prep-work done for the fallout/capitalizing on the actions of these programs.)

One additional point, I do think it's fair to scrutinize the "$5 billion" number quoted above. It sounds like that includes all USAID to Ukraine over the course of several presidencies - it's not as if it was an immediate cash-infusion in 2014. Now USAID wouldn't be the only vehicle for growing soft-influence leading up to the protests, but that is a different matter.

So the broad strokes of USAID being a resource to promote US political influence is correct, some of the details of this specific claim less so.

I've read his book the Real Anthony Fauci and i can say WITH 100% CERTAINTY that he didn't lie in that book because I CAN PROMISE YOU if he were lying in this book he would have 4 million lawsuits because IT IS DAMNING for Fauci, Gates, and that entire clan. And have you heard of even 1 lawsuit? because I have not

The NED (national endowment for democracy) was/is a CIA offshoot since the early 1980s that invests in revolutions overseas publicly as "trials of democracy",.....the NED pays opposition political parties and pays for student revolts in other countries when it is preferable for regime change to happen by the executive branch of the USA,... the CIA had to quasi-privatize that branch of govt overthrow after the church commission of 1975 dug up so much dirt on the history of CIA attacks

It seems that NED tactics recently are being used on American people during the Biden admin

Their are other agencies that work to harm Americans,...GEC is another agency that taxpayers pay for,..it's mission is to shut down advertiser dollars to independent media that speak against USA govt policy ,.. GEC works closely with the British GDI,...which gives a rating system towards "truth" in the western world,...

GEC was recently defunded and cancelled before Trump took office by Republican congress,...but the Biden admin cleverly renamed a new agency to take its place before biden left,...and biden spread the other fired GED beaureacrsts throughout other agencies in the executive so that a Dem loyalty would remain beyond the voters appetite for them,.... bureaucrats are like cockroaches,..they will be around a billion years from now,.

Cockroaches live on crumbs,...politicians/ bureaucrats live on feeding useful people crumbs

The problem is two-fold. First, the millions of dollars of waste and fraud that has already been disclosed. Plus, the fact that the former leaders were spending money on their pet projects instead of programs that were in the best interst of the US. While USAID may have had a virtuous or admirable beginning, it's become corrupted and political and has lost its way.

The government shouldn't be in the charity business generally because it will inevitably be corrected and political as a result.
