New study confirms economy was destroyed by Democrat policies

Destroyed?

You remember this recession thing caused by the housing bubble that everyone on the left loves to beat up Bush about? Well, It seems that Bush warned the Dems for years this would happen if Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were not pulled in from pushing banks to make sub prime loans to people that were not qualified to obtain the loan. The bleeding hearts would have none of it and now we have the housing crash that lead to the recession.

We always have recessions ....I'd hardly call that the destruction of our economy

Made it much worst than it would have been, In fact we're still in it. Its been prolonged my more liberal BS that throws cold water on the economy. Liberalism has destroyed economies, lives, fortunes and whole countries...its a cancer

Well, Republican conservatism in the 1920s destroyed the American economy and brought on the Great Depression, so we're even.

Actually it was progressive policies posed by Wilson that began the events leading up to the great depression. In fact the first recession started as a result of these policies occurred while Coolidge was in office and because of his conservative approach it was short lived and seldom remembered now. He let the market forces play out and they naturally adjusted themselves.

Your links are extremely questionable ....claiming 12 million U.S. Deaths by starvation ....complete bunk....never happened

Sure they are. The Cato Institute is pretty credible. Here try a few more.

Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama share a lot in common. They were both academics who placed academians and idealogues in positions of power that were driven by a progressive mindset. I suspect we will see similar results. My guess is the damage done by Obama will not be truly felt until he is out of power.

It never happened....no matter what revisionists want to believe

Facts are stubborn things to get your head around aren't they? Just like the housing bubble there is a reason those greedy capitalists made bad loans. They were given the green light by the government under progressive policies. Revisionists history is what liberals try to do to Ronald Reagan.

So I assume there's some factual record of the 12 million dead...individual names and whatnot , seeing how the numbers are similar to the holocaust and all....facts being stubborn things.
, I mean ....there should be a record

Focus M focus. We are talking about Democrat/ progressive policies destroying the economy. Let's not get fixated on how many starve during the depression. I know you would rather get off track, but that was just one part mentioned. Lets stick to the policy debate.

You introduced a source that claimed 12 million Americans were starved to death by an American president ,... Sorry but that's pure hogwash and I can't believe anything else that kind of moonbat says

There was a study done by a Russian comparing the period of Stalin's great depression to the US great depression and he jumped to the conclusion that since 7-12 million people fell off the census roles that they starved to death (a stretch at best) and we know there were some 7 million plus malnourished during this time, but that is not starving. Even if you dismiss that one article, what about the Cato article and the others? Or are you just going to bury your head in the sand?

Here is an example:

However, I am not defending the number or the statement. I do think that the progressive policies of Wilson started the wheels of the great depression. Just the same as I think the Fannie Mae /Freddie Mac housing policies caused the housing bubble that lead to the 2008 recession.

You are wrong. Progressives favored banking REGULATION, not "green lights for bad loans". Conservatives favored deregulation of the banking industry, which as history shows, caused massive bank failures in 1933 as well as in the 1980s under Reagan/Bush.

liberal policies have been bad for years, for one recent disaster we can blame is the housing blunder . how anybody thought putting people in mortgages that they couldn't afford was a good idea is unexplainable economically . we all know the rest of that story. bush warned the democrat congress to slow down this train wreck , to no avail. as for economic polices, check the 5 worst economically run states in this country !

One of those regulations was forcing banks to make loans which proved to be very damaging to the economy to this day.
