i think your concern at the 2 spot is very valid. I am really excited about our Frontcourt this year, i think for the first time in a long time we should control the glass in most games with Derek and Yante playing together down low, and i like Edwards in that rotation as well. We all know JJ is going to do what JJ does, he is much more effective off the ball and is at his best in open court, it will be interesting to see how we employ him now that Chuck and Kenny are gone. We need guy or guys who can shoot, period. Really doesn't matter what we run, Triangle, or modified motion as gacard pointe out, if we can't shoot the ball it wont matter, Turtle, JP, Tyree, someone needs to be able to knock it down on a consistent basis, if we have someone that has to be accounted for outside on the perimeter its going to open the inside for Yante and let JJ do what he does too. we were 260th in the nation last year in FG percentage, 160th in scoring points per game. alot of this was due to playing two guys 20 plus minutes with little or zero offensive production, hopefully that will change and I would imagine JJ will get a lot of attention early on until someone else in our backcourt steps up as well.
