The weather was perfect. Foley field looks great. I know some think we put lipstick on a pig, but I really like Foley Field. My only complaint would be put a basic scoreboard by the maintenance shack so those out on "kudzu hill" don't have strain their neck to get the details.
Pitching and defense were solid overall. When you don't hit or walk batters you have a chance. Me thinks Auburn is a tad overrated. I know they swept UF and had won 9 straight, but color me unimpressed.
If the Dawgs got a couple of big time arms in transfer they could be pretty good the next few years. There's lots of talent in the field. Unfortunately, I just don't see the current regime pulling the right levers to move it forward.
