In the 2nd quarter, it was 3rd and 5 on the 23. Lambert didn't like what he saw and audibled at the line of scrimmage which turned into a touchdown run by Chubb where he was not touched till the 1-yard line.
Lambert's play today was solid but vanilla.......made some great throws, but also made some key checks at the line of scrimmage. Watched the film twice now, I like what I saw from Schottenheimer and Lambert.
Gameplan was simple, you going to put 8 in the box, were going to line up power......and Schottenheimer knew they couldn't stop it consistently.
There were some wrinkles, the WR motion in where TE went to flats. Great playcall, also the Michel motion out. Love seeing two tailbacks on field together also.
