I was sickened to learn we spent $6 million or so on basketball NIL. We could have gotten difference makers on the football team and spread a little more around to our current players.
Until we are the highest spending team in football NIL, I would prefer we do not spend any collective money or school money on basketball. It should never be acceptable to spend less on football to spend more on basketball.
