When I was growing up you got NFL cards. The only time you saw a college uniform was a rookie card.
Yesterday my 11 year old son came home from school shopping.
He had bought some cards and wanted me to open them him. I was excited to do it with him. Opened the first pack and said these are college cards.
Low and behold the crazy part. Because of NIL now, freshmen have cards of themselves in their high school unis. Got some JuJu Lewis, Air Noland and 1 KJ Bolden. Dudes haven't played a down but got their own cards. That's crazy but cool for those guys.
I had a great time seeing the excitement on my son's face. Good time with him. The only bummer was out of the cards he bought Bolden was the only DAWG. And it was a high school uni.
