His body language in that hearing was awful......amateurish.
A study just came out that said the 26% of young men who engage in gambling have a hard time quitting or become compulsive. Even if the results of the study were cut in half, that’s an absolutely unacceptable number.
In many of the states where gambling has been legalized, bankruptcies are up, suicides are up, and this almost exclusively hits young men.
I really wish the Supreme Court had never paved the way for legalized sports gambling. I don’t gamble at all, and I’ve never really had an interest in it, but virtually every guy I know does, including some who I know do not have the money to be doing so.
You can be mad at a kid for leaving his team before a season ends. You can be mad at a kid and or a helicopter dad for having a list of demands. You can be mad at a kid for using the threat of the portal to negotiate a new deal with his current team but you must also remember that everything they are currently doing and have a legal right to do now was illegally denied to them for decades by the entity that was literally making hundreds of millions of dollars.
So, if you're mad at the kid for leaving PSU before the playoff. Remember, the kid is reacting to a timetable he didn't create and coaches have been leaving their teams in a bind for a raise for decades. If a kid asking for guaranteed money and promises of playing time leaves you feeling hollow, remember Kirby's demands for taking the head coaching job at UGA. It's the NCAA and univ presidents that created the mess we're in now and I for one can't blame a kid or his parents for making sure their kid gets the best deal possible.

The video I linked is all about Baker allowing biological males in NCAA women's sports, not gambling. Baker answered a question about women undressing in front of these mentally ill males. Bakers' response was the women are free to find a different location to change clothes. WTF!
