I think Danny Ferry put together a HECK of a team in his tenure as Hawks GM, any did a WONDEFUL job with the roster and grabbing a solid coach. Never liked him personally but he knew what he was doing as GM. I figured they would slip this year, might have done same if he remained, but may have taken a step forward and became an elite team. Don't think that will be case now.
I think the power struggle with ownership more than political correctness actually got him. Hawks would be better off if he were still GM!! Should have taken the heat and kept him.........
