Obviously as a dawgs fan I am biased but I really think the committee should put an emphasis on rewarding this. South Carolina, among others, played nobody in the nonconference and avoided losses while piling up a win count. Meanwhile we played very good mid majors, we played true road games at Baylor and Seton Hall. Seton Hall by the way looks like a sweet 16 contender going toe to toe with a Villanova team who will be a 1 seed next week.
College basketball should want good matchups in November and December rather than cupcakes. You know how they can do that? Reward teams tomorrow who scheduled those and punish teams who played nobody. Just think it would be good for the sport.
