Not that it matters at this point, but our turnover

problem is three fold.
1) as demonstrated at the end of last year and on more than one occasion this year, even tonight, we play more efficiently when we are uptempo. Which again, does not mean fastbreaking every trip, but getting the ball up quickly and getting into something without all the extra passing, which is where so many of our errors occur. I'd much rather take a bad shot than throw the ball away plodding around. At least some of those do go in. You gotta play with bad intentions so to speak.
2) Fox's dithering around with ridiculous lineups up until the last few games. Any player or coach will tell you that the more court time guys have together the more comfortable, familiar and in sync they become as a unit. We have had way too may individual moving parts without cohesion due to lineup shuuflling and constant subbing through the majority of the season. If we had played the 8 guys who are playing the most minutes now together all year we would cut our turnovers at least 30 -40% imo. That is probably worth 6-8 points per game at least when you consider the shots we'd get and the less shots for the opponent. Where would we be with with 6-8 more ppg.
3) Fox's handling of guys after they commit a turnover. It is different for veterans vs younger guys, which one can understand to a point, but not the extent to which he does it. He has instilled a fear of making mistakes in all his younger guys, which is very different than teaching kids to value the ball.
He has backed off his yanking of guys lately because he realizes he is in big trouble and hoping that his guys will magically forget what he has ingrained in them all year, or two years as the case may be.

Turnovers are not the only problem we have for sure, but combined with our lack of consistent scoring they are lethal.
