They set aside an hour of programming to reveal what could be accomplished with a press release posted on Twitter. It has to be somewhat controversial, otherwise it won’t get as many eyeballs. And the ad buys won’t generate as much in that case.
So now a whole bunch of people carp and moan about it - and will reliably hate watch it next week. It’s a scheme - and a successful one.
Just let the thing breathe. The season is not ending today. The rankings reflect what the field would be if it was seeded today. But it is not being seeded today. Or next week. Or the week after.
