I recently talked with a former basketball coach of Nasir Johnson. He had this to say about the Georgia defensive line commit:
Q: What kind of athlete is he?
A: Really good kid. Big personality. Playful. Good listener. He’s a great athlete for his size. He can backflip. He dunks a basketball easily with two hands off one foot.
Q: What about on the football field? What’s his ceiling, NFL?
A: That will depend on his work ethic and willingness to perfect technique. He kinda gets away with doing stuff wrong at the high school level because he’s such a good athlete and physical force. On the field now, he’s dominant at times. (His) motor is not always consistent but definitely makes some splash plays. I didn’t coach him in football but this is from me observing and speaking with his football coaches while I was there
