As Jed tee'd up going into the weekend, the OV to Georgia was gonna be make or break for Metz and after some late night texts, I think this is gonna become a classic battle between UGA and UA. There were some early weekend reports making it seem like the OV wasn't enough to help the Bulldogs contend and I'm told those were premature. Sunday, in particular, was impactful for Metz and his camp reciprocated as much.
One source told Rivals: "This could get interesting."
IMO, it's game on between the dream school and the home state power. I don't expect any sort of final decision until the dead period, at the earliest.
