Barbour is talking frequently with Todd Hartley. As one of Georgia’s longest-tenured 2025 commits, he is emerging as one of the leaders of the class.
Brock Bowers going in the first round impressed. Barbour liked how that proved that you don’t have to necessarily be a 6-8 freak show to go in the first round at tight end.
Barbour also said the staff believes he and Bowers play similarly. They see him as a “black Brock” he said.
Barbour has been in contact with Ryan Montgomery. Those two have a relationship dating back to the Future 50 last year. They’re working together to recruit other prospects, such as the next guy in this update.
Barbour is planning OVs to Georgia, Auburn, and another school. He said Georgia just needs to keep doing what it has always done to keep him in the class.
Wiley is hearing every day from James Coley. Those two have grown closer over the past month or so.
The message is simple. Georgia needs Wiley on campus.
Ryan Montgomery is recruiting him as well.
Georgia’s OV is set for June 14-16. LSU (who had Cortez Hankton at his practice today), Alabama, Florida State, and USC will receive the other officials. A decision will come soon after the final visit.
