Trump, Biden, Trump - this is the best that our Country can put up. We are absolutely screwing ourselves.
You might have a point if the problem wasn't decades old. It's more like Schumer, McConnel, Pelosi, Boehner, Ryan, McCain, Biden, Obama, both Bushes and pretty much anyone that has wielded any power at all in DC since Newt and Clinton got serious about managing the budget.

@brimur stated, we all should call out our own team and hold them accountable but this is F A R from being an isolated boondoggle and governments at all levels and pols from both parties are guilty. Whether it's thousand dollar toilets for the military, billions for green projects that go belly up, favors for foreign government that result in campaign money or jobs and perks for family members of officials, the pols have rigged the game where their "teams" play gotcha games, spout off whataboutisms and defend the scumbags while they fleece us all for our tax dollars and cry for more because they can't seem to run the country on 4 trillion per yr.
The problem isn't Trump, Biden or the people that find flaws with both. The problem is a government by, of and for the government that as created a bloated bureaucratic system that runs its self with no meaningful oversight and allows the pols to gorge at the trough at the expense of the tax payers. As I have said before, you could take 10 of the more reasonable posters from the chat that hold left and right of center views and solve 90% of 90% of most of the issues that our pols have been using to play us for decades. I'd bet we could have a workable border bill within a week as long as protecting our turf wasn't an issue but our
leaders can't figure it out in 4 decades? GTFOH.
