Stupid post. With big changes on OL, freshman QB, and perhaps a new coordinator, 7-5 or so was to be expected under Richt in 2016. 9-3 would be excellent.

The goal, as laid out by AD to all coaches in first meeting with them, was compete for nationals. 9-3 this year...but we didn't beat anyone good, we haven't really done well against good teams in quite some time...past 7 years, 5-21 against SEC teams that finished with more wins than losses....that's bad.

REALLY! When a coach is at the end of his contract (1-2 years) their competitors use it against them when recruiting. "He may not be there the whole time you are in school" This hurts recruiting. That why scholls make coaches contracts so public. Google it dumb ass.

They extend contracts because your winning and liking what you doing . I remember post when the news broke about the extension and people here went crazy over it and was tick .

We've seen it time and again, contracts are extended for recruiting purposes, so it can't be used against you. It is used time and time again against coaches on a short contract.
