We have seen the reports of Ny Carr decommitting from Georgia. We're working on confirming that ourselves. (UPDATE: We have confirmed that Carr has indeed backed off his Georgia pledge.)
We reached out to Carr and got no response. When we contacted Carr on Friday about potentially visiting Athens this weekend, he gave no indication anything was up.
A source at Colquitt County also indicated this caught them off guard.
Here's a refresher on what Carr told us just a couple of weeks ago. After all the flirtation with other schools earlier this year, it seemed as if Georgia had locked him down. But it now seems that might not have been the case after all:
