Speculation that Adams has the dirt on James and Bragg. And Trump wants blood. Imagine those 2 are squirming. Remember when James ran her campaign on targeting a citizen and taking them down. Not a peep from the left.I dont even know what the political value of dropping that was. Ensures that Adams loses re-election. I guess it gives him the political cover to do more self-interested interfering with the DOJ because it maintains a veneer of bipartisan interest.
Well I don’t know who James is, so maybe I don’t care about this enough. 🤷♂️Speculation that Adams has the dirt on James and Bragg. And Trump wants blood. Imagine those 2 are squirming. Remember when James ran her campaign on targeting a citizen and taking them down. Not a peep from the left.
It’s relevant to point out that the Danielle Sassoon clerked with Antonin Scalia and was appointed by Trump only three weeks ago. Her resignation letter is worth a read.
You're correct.....Trump is doing what he said he would do....and WON the election. It’s relevant to point out that the Danielle Sassoon clerked with Antonin Scalia and was appointed by Trump only three weeks ago. Her resignation letter is worth a read.
So in the last week, Trump has had the DOJ dismantle the department focused on investigating and prosecuting foreign bribes of US politicians, pardoned convicted politician Rod Blagojavich and defended his pardons of the J6 felons by claiming they they were the victims of assault by our government and that the first responders were the guilty ones.
Yesterday, Trump explained that many Russian fought and died for that Ukrainian land, so they deserve to keep it.
Just wait until committed conspiracy theorist Kash Patel takes over the FBI. What’s happened so far is simply prep for the big show.
Those of you who voted for Trump but are now concerned about the rule of law, what did you think we were going to get from Trump? Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do and every important cabinet appointment other than State has been open about the plans.
Oh, and we are going to get hammered with higher prices across the board thanks to the tariff war that Trump promised and is executing, so the systematic destruction of the rule of law isn’t even going to get you cheaper eggs.
It is fun to see you post interviews from the president. Where he answers questions. Pretty amazing huh. If you think for a second Russia is going to end the war without getting something you are just being obtuse. That was happening the minute he invaded when Biden suggested the Ukraine for nato. Trump is just greasing the skids. It’s relevant to point out that the Danielle Sassoon clerked with Antonin Scalia and was appointed by Trump only three weeks ago. I don't recall Biden getting the same grace...And....nothing about the price of eggs has anything to do with Trump
Oh sure. Because you guys blamed nothing on Trump’s presidency. Come on man. Really?I don't recall Biden getting the same grace...
All inflation was bidens fault. All we heard. Trump is in charge now. Buck stops with him now. Where's the magic inflation lever?Oh sure. Because you guys blamed nothing on Trump’s presidency. Come on man. Really?
Totally agree. I have no issue with the buck stopping with Trump. But after three weeks, that would be convenient to blame the last four years on three weeks of Trump right. A year from now. He has had time to do things to turn it around. All inflation was bidens fault. All we heard. Trump is in charge now. Buck stops with him now. Where's the magic inflation lever?
When his platform called for addressing inflation on day one and he has yet to do anything about it, it does become his problem. His entire campaign was centered around it. Swing voters voted for him because of it. Not because of "it's going to get worse before it gets better". He said "day 1".Totally agree. I have no issue with the buck stopping with Trump. Most people measure the credit card debt issue along with the delinquent payment increase from the second quarter of 2021. What is your timeline?
If it turns bad. Right. It is fun to see you post interviews from the president. Where he answers questions. Pretty amazing huh. Sassoon wanted a scalp. She was just appointed by Trump a few weeks ago. She wanted Adams as a resume builder. This was a political move by her. Pretty much now acknowledged by most with a brain.
Jan 6th is bad for your blood pressure. Your favorite place is back at it. Pubs against Trump. Because first responders should hate him more than democrats who begged to defund them. After allowing with no repercussions for the same first responders(police) to be assaulted all summer. Give me a break
So far he is doing exactly what he said he would do. If it turns bad, well, you won’t have to hear from him again after four years. But you were on this board for four years saying he was done. It wouldn’t be the first time you were wrong.
The only tangible thing he has done to impact inflation is to institute more tariffs, which is of course inflationary. When his platform called for addressing inflation on day one and he has yet to do anything about it, it does become his problem. His entire campaign was centered around it. Swing voters voted for him because of it. Not because of "it's going to get worse before it gets better". He said "day 1".
So...my timeline for trump is from inauguration (day 1) to YTD....what's he done to address inflation?

Examples of charges being dropped with the express and open identification of a political quid pro quo as the reason? Find me one other example of that, please. I don't think you can.My quick take on this is Trump's team needed a major City Mayor to get on board to rounding up criminal illegal aliens and the Mayor of NY was more than willing if his charges were dropped. Yes, a quid pro quo, one that hopefully benefits the citizens of New York. Deals like this are made all the time, yes they smell but it is what it is.
what is the real truth I doubt anybody knows. the big crime is what our Congress has allowed agengies to do our tax dollar and not get our bordder protected. You can forget everything else if these issues are not resolved, so quit worring about all the BsIt is fun to see you post interviews from the president. Where he answers questions. Why do you think the charges were levied in first place, it was a quid pro quo for him calling out the Biden administration. I have no issues with Sassoon and assume that the Mayor is guilty as was the previous Mayor of Atlanta when he rebid all the Atlanta Airport concession contracts. An unsavory deal was made, one Sassoon didn't like, but one the Justice Department did. Hopefully an UNSAVORY deal that benefits the safety and citizens of New York. I assume it will if hundreds of criminal aliens are rounded up and rest go into hiding. Thats a big deal, hopefully bigger than jailing a Mayor for corruption.Examples of charges being dropped with the express and open identification of a political quid pro quo as the reason? Read what Danielle Sassoon said in her letter. You can't get better legal credentials as a conservative than having clerked for Scalia and she calls it out as an afront to the rule of law, which it is.
One day we will wake up. Sure. That is in the future. To a terrible world trump has created. If that happens, I promise you I will eat crow. However Will. The feeling is mutual. You should know better as well. I get the frustration. I like you, I know behind it you are a good person, but that goes both ways. And so far your batting average on being right is terrible. So while I listen to your warnings. I hear good points. I will let it play out.If it turns bad. Right.
Zinger, you are truly one of the most exasperating people to try and engage with because I always think you should know better and I'm disappointed nearly 100% of the time.
Trump should be lauded because he answered questions on AF1? Dude, that is farcical. You have nothing to say about his blatant and evil lie that the people who attacked the first responders didn't attack anyone and were in fact attacked by the government. Trump's response to that question is literally from page one of the authoritarian playbook.
Of course you don't address the actual issue, because that requires choosing between showing yourself as a person who cares about truth and the rule of law or not. It's binary, and the answer is in your response. It's irrefutable.
One day, you and many others are going to wake up to the unfortunate realization of what you enabled and supported, and you are going to realize what resulted because of it. This journey that we are on isn't new, it isn't unique, it always ends up the same way and it's never a good outcome for people like you and me.
So, you’ve personally investigated the charges against Adams and determined them to be frivolous. Can you give us a short summary of why? As Sassoon detailed, the charges are serious and extremely well supported, and I trust her opinion on this topic significantly more than yours. Why do you think the charges were levied in first place, it was a quid pro quo for him calling out the Biden administration. I shared a video of Trump telling the country that the people who we all watched live as they attacked and injured over 120 LEOs during their effort to stop certification didn't attack anyone and were the real victims on that day. He didn't suggest that, he stated it in extremely clear language. Lies and propaganda. One day we will wake up. Sure. That is in the future. To a terrible world trump has created. Took you a long time to admit Biden’s brain was scrambled. Despite me telling you for five years it was. Maybe I have that debate moment you did with Biden concerning Trump. So blinded by agenda and tds, it takes someone slapping you in the face with the truth to get it.
I have transformed some when it comes to Trump. I still can’t stand his pettiness. I wish he acted more presidential and stayed out of the muck. But there are so many things that turned out to be lies that you and others perpetuated on this board, I am willing to see what he can do. We had to have a change.
I could list the lies for days. Charlottesville. Steele dossier, cia agents, hunters laptop, loser comment, and one you totally fell for. The Mercedes comment thinking he called his wife by that name. How is his cognitive ability on camera. Funny how that went away. I want to give credibility to you. But I am going to have to see it. Same way you did. Too many lies and coverups from the media and democrats. And I hate to tell you this, Trump may make a mess, but he is going to set fire to the careers of some of your Dem leaders.
OMGI don't recall Biden getting the same grace...

It’s been a month broAll inflation was bidens fault. All we heard. Trump is in charge now. Buck stops with him now. Where's the magic inflation lever?
You really ought to hear yourself. It has been less than a month and you are acting like we are in the apocalypse. This is a reach even for you. He said there will be pain early on. But it will get better. I love hearing you championing corruption at every turn now. While choosing not to believe Biden sold out his country right under our nose. Using oj Simpson didn’t do it type logic to defend him. I knew Biden would be an absolute trainwreck, but that I will give him some grace. Right here on this board I responded to you with that. I will give him a chance. Had a close friend beg me to realize he is a middle of the road Democrat. Well he wasn’t. I gave him grace and he clobbered us. Ironically middle of the road Dems are mostly running the country at the moment. Somehow the liberals absolutely hate that. Does that not resonate with you at all. Biden f’ed up. You guys then did all you could to put Trump back in the White House. He was gone. But your tds pulled him right back in. Only yourself to blame. So, you’ve personally investigated the charges against Adams and determined them to be frivolous. Can you give us a short summary of why? As Sassoon detailed, the charges are serious and extremely well supported, and I trust her opinion on this topic significantly more than yours.
And I thought this happened all the time. So what’s another example?
I shared a video of Trump telling the country that the people who we all watched live as they attacked and injured over 120 LEOs during their effort to stop certification didn't attack anyone and were the real victims on that day. He didn't suggest that, he stated it in extremely clear language. Lies and propaganda.
The pardons and everything Trump has said on the topic, including this latest affront to truth and our own eyes, prove beyond any doubt that Trump fully supported the attack. Why else would he feel compelled to tell such obvious lies?
This is what I've always said, and what you have always denied. Why does it matter? Because someone willing to use violence to achieve political ends once is surely willing to do it again. Someone who feels they are above the law in any scenario feels they are above the law in every scenario. And now Trump has surrounded himself with the people who will enable his lawlessness instead of working to curb it.
These bad outcomes for the country are already happening. They just haven't come to your door yet, so you are choosing to not see them.
So you've prejudged the case? How American of you.
It’s funny how all of these “conspiracy theories” end up being true. Clot shot, lap top, Wuhan lab, etc. It’s relevant to point out that the Danielle Sassoon clerked with Antonin Scalia and was appointed by Trump only three weeks ago. Her resignation letter is worth a read.

No. You are on the right track here. But had adams set up shell companies for the bribes to go to his family members, this would have blinded the democrats. He would certainly have been looked upon as innocent and being railroaded. Sounds like at worst he was learning from his democrat leader.Cases are dropped all the time for political reasons or due to the usefulness of the accused. The bottom line is our political class is full of junketeers and even though discounted travel and questionable campaign contributions are present in this case, the personal payoff to Adams seems really weak to bring a corruption case. It looks to me like the way Adams was playing politics is pretty standard stuff for pols in his position. Since nobody found gold bars in a safe, hundreds of thousands in bank accounts and exotic cars provided by donors, this looks like a case that called for a modest fine and a return of questionable campaign contributions. This doesn't look like a case that should carry a felony conviction and multiple yrs behind bars based on the severity of the violations when compared to people like O.
So you and Tivoli know all the facts, eh? I recall you knew all of the facts of the Steele Dossier and COVID's origins and illegals getting whipped by border agents and Trump removing sensitive papers and Christine Blakey Ford'a claims against Kavanaugh.I think this resignation letter addresses your view of this situation quite compellingly.
Do what we want, or we will refile the charges. The brazenness of the corruption is what's so stunning.
Ok. Let’s take a step away from the ledge and look at this for you will.I think this resignation letter addresses your view of this situation quite compellingly.

Four years. You and Biden’s mother are the only one who doesn’t think he is guilty. It got Trump impeached. Cost us millions of dollars for nothing. I forget. Dems don’t care about wasting money.I know exactly what I am saying, and I stand by it.
Zinger, Emile Bove, the acting US Deputy Attorney (#2 in the DOJ) put in writing that the wishes and policies of the President take precedence over the Constitution. In writing, in a letter he knew full would be made public.
Here's a question for you. Do you agree that the wishes of Trump take precedence over the Constitution?
And you claim Biden sold out the country, but you still haven't pointed to a single policy that represents where or how he sold out the country.
Did Biden concede every important Ukraine negotiating point before even getting to the table with Russia? Oh wait, that was Trump and Pete Hegseth just yesterday.
Did Biden's SOD state that we couldn't possibly defeat the Russian Navy and would require seven years to catch up? No, that truly absurd Russian propaganda came directly from our SOD yesterday. I mean, Ukraine has sunk half of their Black Sea fleet with remote control torpedoes, but I'm sure Putin is crowing about how afraid the US is of the Russian fleet.
Did Biden sell our country out by effectively saying Europe is on their own? Nope, our SOD and VP, just yesterday.
So, you have four years to pull examples of Biden selling the country out, and I found three egregious examples from just one day. But I'm sure you will explain how all of those statements are brilliant, Trump is playing 4D chess and we are entering the glory years of US global success and influence.
ZERO fugks given about ANYTHING this dim retorts..
I think this resignation letter addresses your view of this situation quite compellingly.

He ran into more shit from Biden than he thought existed. When his platform called for addressing inflation on day one and he has yet to do anything about it, it does become his problem. Actually, I encouraged the GOP to launch a formal impeachment process, and I said that many, many times. If you see that as a proclamation of innocence instead of respect for the rule of law, so be it.Four years. You and Biden’s mother are the only one who doesn’t think he is guilty. It got Trump impeached. Cost us millions of dollars for nothing. I forget. Dems don’t care about wasting money.
There is no constitutional issue to having charges dropped for someone you may use for something else. It is a normal discretion. Do you know how many times the Dems have done this over the years? Your president just pardoned his whole family over bribery charges. Do you not see the hypocrisy? After he told us for two years he wouldn’t do it. Why? So he could claim no one(Trump) was above the law. I told you he is going to have to play the villian. Here he is.
Honestly, I am not a fan of him pushing to have the charges dropped. Have them reduced. Or whatever. I think it brought controversy where it isn’t needed. But that is Trump. In his mind payback for all the bs you guys put him thru. So I will give him some grace.
Someone punches you in the nuts enough times, hard not to punch back. Right?Actually, I encouraged the GOP to launch a formal impeachment process, and I said that many, many times. If you see that as a proclamation of innocence instead of respect for the rule of law, so be it.
You sidestepped the rest of my post beyond saying that ultimately, anything Trump does is justified as payback, which is where you always end up despite the tepid exclamations of mild discomfort.
Regarding the pardons, Trump has vowed retribution, and his FBI nominee has very explicitly vowed retribution and the AG is clearly going to do whatever Trump instructs her to. This is what to expect when the POTUS has a proven disdain for the rule of law, which I've detailed in this thread and many others, and which Trump has confirmed already many times here in the first month of his second term. There is nothing stopping the House and Senate, both controlled by the GOP, from hauling the entire Biden clan before a committee and under oath to answer questions.
Of course, that likely won't happen for the exact same reasons that the GOP never launched a formal impeachment process. When you can't make your case, it's far more politically expedient to just keep lobbing accusations than it is to get people under oath and in front of the public.
Well, we can agree to disagree that political expediency should take precedence over the rule of law when needed. I see it differently, as does the Constitution.Ok, Sassoon thought it was unsavory and drilled down to the issue, we are not charging him so he can implement Trump policies in NY City. I don't disagree with her assessment. Again, if Trump's and Mayor Adams new policy of rounding up criminal illegals and locking them up makes the city safer then Trump and his team will think its justified. Unsavory, sure, justified - certainly debatable and will continue to be in criminal illegals are rounded up and American Citizen's lives are saved in NY. Fairly sure Lincon Riley's mom would agree with the deal and i would too if I were in her shoes.........
