Chicago has the strictest gun laws and the highest murder rate in the nation. It proves gun laws only work to keep law abiding citizens without a means of protection in times like these.

Most of the time, the talking heads like to talk about murder rate per capita when they want to skew the numbers

you are right , chicago is a war zone , and the liberal press looks the other way . watch the liberal press in the near future, they will take their marching orders from prezs' latest lies and rants about gun laws !

How does that skew the numbers?
It's skews the perspective

Detroit, Chicago, New York ....all violent places with large amounts of murders, but massive populations

Also, Gary Indiana is very close to Chicago, but gets left out of the stats. Milwaukee is a couple hours drive but also gets left out of the stats

Milwaukee isn't left out of the stats; they're listed as #1 on every list.

I think we may be talking past each other, though.

Out if the stats for the Chicago area....don't be a doof....but that is part of my point .... Per capita , Milwaukee by itself seems high, but their numbers are 1) restricted to a very specific demographic , and 2) are dwarfed by the total numbers of larger cities that have lower per capita rates

We all know where most of the gun killings occur

The per capita is a way of calculating a statistic of such between differing numbers of population. so your argument does not make sense.

Yes, I understand , but it's easy then to say Chicago isn't such a dangerous place .... Per capita .... When we all know it's one of the most dangerous places in the USA
