While I would be literally stunned if he didn't sign with UGA, its very concerning our coaching staff felt they had to spend 6+ hours with a recruit who has been committed for months. You don't do that less than two weeks before signing day on a guy who is 100% committed unless you feel he is really wavering, or even leaning a different direction. Kudos to the coaches for busting tail and making sure he stays in the fold, but it definitely adds credence to the belief that he is at least listening to the overtures of Auburn and Bama.
Put me down in the concerned/frustrated category. We needed him to help UGA close strong down the stretch run, instead, he is taking valuable recruiting time from coaches who should be out recruiting uncommitted prospects. Coaches definitely made the right decision to spend time with TG, but make no mistake, we don't do that to a prospect we feel is 100% committed.
