Ok how could Democrats argue against this election idea I heard from Vivek

Kamala did not win a single state that has voter ID.......

Yep, every single state she won had no voter ID.
Not quite, but darn close.

Harris won 12/14 states that don't require photo id to vote. The exceptions were Nevada (which just adopted voter ID by ballot referendum for future elections) and Pennsylvania, which only requires ID for first time voters in a district.

She also won New Hampshire and Rhode Island, which both require ID to vote. Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Colorado (other Harris wins) allow non-photo id to vote.

The map below is the best representation I've seen of the way things turned out. Not shown is Hawai'i, which generally does not require photo ID to vote, and Harris won.

I would argue against single day voting and have precincts open M-Sat for 2 weeks prior. Over 100 mil votes in one day would be a clusterbionk and a lot of folks that would vote otherwise wouldn't or couldn't stand in line for hours. As long as 99% of the votes cast were at a precinct with live poll workers checking IDs and paper ballots fed into the counting machines by the voter, I'd have confidence in the results.

Dems aren't known for being rational or logical.
Democrats are now the party of the college educated, over credentialed elites who make big salaries and don't consider themselves "religious" and/or don't actually attend church on a regular basis, plus the dependent poor (welfare recipients) who refuse to work.

They have totally abandoned everyone else in the middle, including wage earners who work with their hands for a living plus the middle class who collectively keep our country afloat.
