With such a talented roster and high preseason praise, what do we account for the overall putridness of this out of conference schedule? I don't think I can recall one much weaker or less exciting prior to SEC play.
QUINNIPIAC (2)
UNC-WILMINGTON (2)
KENNESAW STATE (1)
ILLINOIS-CHICAGO (4)
GEORGIA STATE (1)
FLORIDA GULF COAST (3)
HIGH POINT
COLUMBIA (3)
EAST TENNESSEE STATE
**SEC PLAY BEGINS**
WEST GEORGIA
QUEENS COLLEGE (NC)
PRESBYTERIAN
KENNESAW STATE
GEORGIA TECH
CLEMSON
Overall about as lackluster as I can recall and honestly really disappointing not to see a minimum of 2 games with GT & Clemson, really outta be more like 3/4 which has been the norm in the past. Also no Mercer, Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina, etc. Hopefully this isn't a trend for CWJ and his thoughts on OOC scheduling moving forward. If we are anything less than 18-1/17-2 heading into SEC play I'll be disappointed.
