    I read somewhere that the focus of MLK was on having an equal opportunity to work for good results but that the focus of BLM and similar organizations is achieving good results without needing the opportunity to work for them.

    You can only legislate opportunity. You can't obtain equality through government. In fact, all past attempts to legislate equality, such as the social programs of the 60's, have only produced more inequality and dependence.

    So you put money into accessible education, provide incentives that support families and small business, which is the largest creator of jobs, and build on the lessons learned from our past so that we don't repeat them.
